近日,第51届日内瓦国际发明展在瑞士日内瓦落幕。康恒环境联合西藏大学,凭借“高海拔低氧地区生活垃圾高效清洁焚烧技术”斩获银奖。
Recently, the 51st Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions concluded in Geneva, Switzerland. SUS ENVIRONMENT, in collaboration with Xizang University, won the Silver Medal with its "High-Efficiency Clean Incineration Technology for Municipal Solid Waste in High-Altitude, Low-Oxygen Regions."

Founded in 1973, the Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions is recognized as one of the "World's Top Three Invention Exhibitions," alongside those in Pittsburgh and Nuremberg. This year's exhibition attracted nearly a thousand inventions from over 40 countries and regions, with more than one hundred international experts attending on-site. The rigorous judging standards make this one of the most prestigious honors in the global innovation community.

Compared to popular fields such as consumer electronics and biomedicine, the waste-to-energy (WtE) industry faces even greater challenges in winning awards, requiring exceptional originality and engineering value. SUS ENVIRONMENT's Silver Medal marks a pioneering breakthrough for the global WtE industry in high-altitude, low-oxygen technology, earning recognition from international authorities.

从 -30°C 到 3650米:极端环境的技术适配
From -30°C to 3,650 Meters: Technical Adaptation to Extreme Environments
高海拔废弃物能源化是行业公认的技术难题。在海拔3650米的拉萨,空气含氧量仅为平原地区的60%,低气压、低温、垃圾热值低、燃烧不稳定、污染物控制难度大,对焚烧系统提出极高要求。康恒环境与西藏大学团队联合攻关,独创了折返迷宫式风道结构,开发了智能自动燃烧控制系统,并首次在高原应用烟气再循环技术。目前,该项目已获得18项专利授权,形成了适用于高原环境的高效、低成本、清洁焚烧技术体系。
High-altitude waste-to-energy is widely recognized as a major technical challenge in the industry. In Lhasa, at an altitude of 3,650 meters, the oxygen content is only 60% of that at sea level. Combined with low atmospheric pressure, low temperatures, low waste calorific value, unstable combustion, and difficult pollutant control, these conditions place extremely high demands on incineration systems. Through joint efforts with Xizang University, SUS ENVIRONMENT developed an innovative folded labyrinth air duct structure, an intelligent automatic combustion control system, and applied flue gas recirculation technology in high-altitude regions for the first time. To date, the project has obtained 18 patents, forming an efficient, low-cost, and clean incineration technology system suitable for high-altitude environments.

From the frigid winters of Harbin to Lhasa at 3,650 meters above sea level, SUS's technologies have been successfully implemented in projects across diverse climates and elevations.

拉萨市生活垃圾焚烧发电厂二期项目是本次获奖技术的工程实践典范,也是全球海拔最高的垃圾焚烧厂之一。项目总投资5.41亿元,日处理生活垃圾800吨,年发电量1.55亿千瓦时,服务拉萨市区及下辖四县。项目于2025年4月投运,基本实现了拉萨市生活垃圾“零填埋”目标,为“生态明珠”拉萨的生态保护与清洁能源转型做出巨大贡献。
The Lhasa Municipal Solid Waste Incineration Power Plant Phase II Project stands as an exemplary engineering application of the award-winning technology and is one of the highest-altitude WtE plants in the world. With a total investment of RMB 541 million, the plant processes 800 tonnes of municipal solid waste daily and generates 155 GWh of electricity annually, serving Lhasa city and its four subordinate counties. Commissioned in April 2025, the project has essentially achieved the "zero landfill" goal for Lhasa's municipal waste, making a significant contribution to the ecological protection and clean energy transition of Lhasa, the "Ecological Pearl".

产学研深度融合 赋能高原生态
Deep Industry-Academia Integration, Empowering Plateau Ecology
2024年,康恒环境与西藏大学生态环境学院共建实践教育基地,并挂牌“无废城市”科普教育基地,联合攻关高原固废处理技术,为青藏高原生态保护提供了技术支撑,同时为当地学生提供实践机会,促进科研成果转化。
In 2024, SUS ENVIRONMENT and the School of Ecology and Environment at Xizang University jointly established a practical education base, which was also designated as a "Zero-Waste City" science education base. The collaboration focuses on tackling high-altitude solid waste treatment technologies, providing technical support for the ecological protection of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, while offering practical opportunities for local students and facilitating the commercialization of research achievements.
